Q81 Foundation: expanding educational & life opportunities of underprivileged children
Anquan Boldin is arguably one of the best wide receivers to ever play the game of football.
He played in the NFL for 14 years, ranking 4th for Active Receiving Yards and 5th for Active Receiving Touchdowns. He has made three career Pro-Bowl appearances.
In 2016, Boldin received the "NFL’s highest honor for his excellence and significant positive impact on the community by being named the 2016 Walter Payton Man of the Year" (source).
But it's what Boldin has done outside of football that will have the biggest -- and most lasting -- impact upon our community:
"The Anquan Boldin Foundation, also known as Q81, was established in 2004, and is dedicated to expanding the educational and life opportunities of underprivileged children. As evidenced by the charitable activities across the country and overseas, the Q81 Foundation has over 10 years of history impacting communities at large. Q-Fest, held annually in Palm Beach, Florida, is the Foundation’s most celebrated event, and has been the cornerstone in generating resources to sustain the charitable giving Anquan and his family is dedicated to" (source).

And I love this quote from Anquan: "It's just me giving back to my community for all they've done for me. I'm home, and I feel the love."
